For this two-story Master Bedroom/Study addition, the clients requested bright, light-filled spaces to complement the existing 1980s-era berm house. The addition is built into the berm and angled to capitalize on views and sun-angle exposures. The new space is accessed via an open riser stair with a curved interior lightwell.
